Refund policy

Ardrie Park Floral Studio handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation. Products sold on this website are a perishable, natural item and flowers and foliage life span is dependent on species and conditions of harvesting and transportation, resulting in some varieties living longer than others. Flowers and foliage are a product of nature; availability is dependent on season and markets. As a result, not all goods produced are as pictured on www.ardrieparkfloralstudio.com, by accepting these terms and conditions you are acknowledging there may be discrepancies between images and produced goods.

Ardrie Park Floral Studio sources freshly harvested, seasonal, flowers and foliage. We take all efforts to ensure your flowers are not grown on international shores but are grown here in Australia, predominantly sourced in Victoria.  This not only reduces carbon emissions it also reduces the time from harvest to you and ensures freshness to maximise vase life.

If you are unsatisfied with the quality or lifespan of the fresh cut flowers and foliage, please contact us on feedback@ardrieparkfloralstudio.com. We may ask for photos as proof, this is so we can contact our suppliers and let them know of quality issues. You can expect your flowers to last between 4-7 days. Fresh cut florals can last longer under the proper care. All deliveries include a flower care card to maximise vase life.

Given flowers and foliage are grown and are a product of nature, when they have finished blooming and their lifecycle is complete, please thoughtfully dispose in compost or in a Green waste bin. String/twine has been carefully selected to ensure it is made of natural fibres and therefore can also be composted or placed in Green waste.

Flowers and foliage are highly perishable and must be handled with great care. To ensure longevity of our postharvest flower and foliage products, please read the following care instructions:

  • Remove flowers and foliage from any wrapping and decorative ribbon.
  • If your arrangement is tied with string/twine, leave string/twine in place, do not cut.
  • Cut 2-3 cms of the end of each stem, cut on a 45 degree angle. This allows the water to travel up the stem and rehydrate the flowers and foliage. Ensure a clean, sharp knife or scissors are used to reduce chance of contamination.
  • Choose a vase that fits your flowers, it is large enough to hold the florals without tipping over, small enough to ensure the flowers and foliage don't sit in water.
  • Vases can be glass or ceramic however metal vases should be avoided unless lined with plastic. Metal can diminish the vase life and be toxic to the florals.
  • Remove any flowers or foliage that will sit below the water line of the vase. Wet leaves can lead to bacterial, viral, and fungal issues.
  • Fill the clean vase with cool, fresh water and swiftly place the florals into the waters.
  • Ideally keep flowers out of direct sunlight.
  • Avoid placing the florals in draft areas, including under air conditioning or heating units/vents.
  • Every 2 days:
  1) Change the water by taking florals to the sink, hold the florals with one hand, gently tip the old water out and refill the vase with cool, fresh water.
  2) With a sharp, clean knife or scissors,  freshly cut 2-3 cms from the ends of your flowers and foliage, at a 45 degree angle to assist with hydration.
  • Remove past-prime petals and leaves. remove them using a clean sharp pair of scissors. This will help prevent issues with disease.
  • Flowers and foliage may finish their blooming at different times, remove spent flowers and foliage and ensure you compost or place in Green waste bins.
  • String/twine is made of natural fibres and can safely be composted.

Ardrie Park floral studio will make every effort to make sure your beautiful, fresh blooms are handled with care and arrive safely.

If you have taken all steps to ensure the longevity of your flowers and feel they have still not lasted for the average 5-7 days, please contact us in writing via email and we will respond as a matter of urgency with a resolution.
